    Demos from vet server are fucken laggy mate

    quite a few wr demos are being shitey and laggy and its been like 3 in a row now, quite annoying

    servers haven't been restarted in quite a while they shouuld all be reset quite often or the demos get really shitty so hopefully evolv or untouch sees ;o

    My guess:

    Float values lose precision over time and the longer a server is running the greater the imprecision becomes. https://randomascii.wordpress.com/20...at-in-a-float/. It's a problem in the engine.

    All the servers should ideally be reset every few days after a map change and it should be an automated process. The veteran server has currently been up for 21 days straight, at the time of the post it had probably been way over that.

    Yes indeed the servers been floating around too long and should be restarted once in a while. Currently sacred and nowlech can restart the servers manually, but I can add an automated process at a later date.

    How often should that be? every 7 days?
