No, Nu-Metal is Funk-Rap-Hardrock. It's not actually Metal, despite the name.

Limp Bizkit, Korn, and Papa Roach type bands are Nu-Metal.

Electronicore, like I linked, is basically an off-shoot of Metalcore, but they include Techno/Electronic elements. Metalcore is Post-Hardcore mixed with Metal. Post-Hardcore is a straight-edge, introspective movement/reaction to Hardcore. Hardcore has origins in Punk. There was Punk early on, and to make Hardcore Punk, the sound had to get heavier and more aggressive. If you strip the Punk out of Hardcore Punk, you're left with heavy and aggressive.

Examples..
Punk: The Clash, The Ramones
Hardcore Punk: Bad Brains, Black Flag
Hardcore: Hatebreed, Xibalba, Nails
Post Hardcore: Dead Poetic, From Autumn to Ashes, Anberlin
Metalcore: Converge, Bullet for my Valentine, Killswitch Engage
