      Unhappy Banned for slur?

      Tried to log in today only to see I was banned for ~7 days for "slur". I have several keybinds which include potential homophobic terminology captured in other users' chat comments on the server. Nobody expressed discontent with these keybinds during my time in the server, and I was presumably banned while offline.

      I have used these keybinds in the past and have never been banned for using them AFAIK. Someone was banned yesterday for 60 hours for posting links to CP; surely the homophobic "slurs" in my keybinds are not deserving of a 7 day ban.

      I'm hoping my ban duration can be reduced or that it can be converted to a chat mute for the same duration. Thanks for coming to my TED Talk™.




      EDIT: In reviewing my posts from nearly 10 years ago, I see that homophobic chat messages made by me towards another user have resulted in a ban in the past. I did not intend to offend anyone yesterday with my keybinds and plan to unbind the one that includes a homophobic slur immediately upon my ban time completion.
