Reconciliation is the process. Reconciliation in African American history begins with knowledge. As we continue to struggle for equality and justice, the process for reconciliation in the African American history continues. African Americans are still struggling to receive equal rights. A new definition of reconciliation in the African American history has been formed. We are striving to reconcile the past and current struggle. We are struggling to achieve equal opportunity, access to education and a better quality of life.
