Like Rool said, there is a command to prevent this spam, or atleast identify who is spamming a command. But only admins and i believe VIPs can use it.

We had a VIP on, actually several. We did silence, mute, gag, everything, we knew who it was from rcmds and nothing was stopping it, not even !hidechat.

If you don't want to see ANY chat you can use the command hud_saytexttime 0 or something like that, can't exactly remember the command. About the spammer... call an admin in there to ban him, I'd even ban him afterwards now if you'd give me the ID.

Yeah apologies for not having the ID or name of the guy. He was a rookie who did this and when someone pointed out his name publically in chat, he left. I don't assume he's coming back, but I'll know his name when I see it.

EDIT: I also couldn't really call an admin to come on cause it was 4am EST and only had like 3 people online my friend's list, none of which admins.
