Hey surfers

One of my favourite parts about mapping is creating something with good gameplay that many surfers will enjoy completing and speedrunning, so I thought I'd make a quick survey to learn more about surfers.

https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1q-ANnAyU_J4WNfVqrAOOnS32S0o1DGcX_9KwNLGC1B8/viewform?usp=send_form

It'll only take 30-60 seconds to fill out and will improve any future maps made by me and any other mappers who would like to see the results! (Just msg me on steam)

Results are in the post below!

Results:

23 prefer when you teleport to the next stage

27 prefer big open maps
4 prefer compact maps
24 prefer medium sized maps

Unsurprisingly, Omnific showed up the most for favourite maps at 11.

Some other maps that showed up multiple times (in no particular order):
Overgrowths 1/2
Elysium
Stonework series
Tomb4
Artifex
Loentra
Tundra
Eternal
Beyer1/2
Desolate

Rule of thumb, never make compact maps

I for one prefer large open staged maps that flow. Omnific being one of them along with the Overgrowths. I prefer maps that require you to be smooth and flowy, rather than tight turns and fast spins.

Well there are some decent compact maps, I've always liked surf_bob
