First of all, I'm sorry that I perm'd SPAR right away for doing that shit on morbid. Apparently quite many people have "gayed" a WRCP unnoticed and have not been banned for it, not even a minute.

So what I want to know is how should we deal with WRCPs now. The rules concerning WRs are clear, and far more important, but WRCPs are a different thing.
Shall we just be like "who cares about WRCPs, do whatever you want to do"?
Shall we ban for a day/week/x at first offense, and only perm at the 3rd (?) time?

What happens to WRCPs like morbid stage 1 now? SPAR did it, should everyone be allowed to do it now? Or should it stay SPARs WRCP forever (or rather until we can delete times again...)?

Opinions please..

Well, WRCPs shouldn't be an exclusion to the rules because people don't care about them as much as WRs.

So i think the second option is the best, warn-ban-perm ban.

But in order to do this we also have to be able to remove these cheated times, so until that can be done, then cheated WRs and WRCP's should be allowed to be done the same way, but those who are not previously cheated, if cheated should be punished.

If wrcp is gayed, allow gay on that stage.

Initial gay should be punished, and anyone can gay the wrcp from them on top of it.

Wiping times will be easy when we know who did it first.

nah but srsly wrcps are rarely ever an accurate representation of how quickly a stage can be done anyway so if ppl find stupid elaborate ways to outdo each other for their name on the side of the screen just let them have at it. The only exceptions should be lagging and prehopping (in the spar case im not even sure how he was able to do that anyway, wheres the max velocity?)

He should be getting the prehop limit (4 times) every now and then, but apparently it doesn't slow you down completely so he could keep some of his speed - at least thats what it looked like.

Somehow my post got lost upon switching forums, I'll clarify it now: We're gonna handle WRCPs like Chipzy suggested.

No permanent ban upon first offense and you may use the same way that has been already used to get the WRCP.
