So? Other people got banned for doing that on THIS map as well (ichhaueuch comes to my mind), so you should get banned as well imo.
The map just needs a reset..

There is a list, in !rules, for months now. All ALLOWED maps are on it. That imex has not been reset yet doesn't mean it's allowed, why didn't you try to get it fixed/reset instead of just doing it?

I would fix it if I had the time, which I have not lately.

whats the point in waiting for MONTHS to get the map reset when you could just simply boost the ramps as such. it is not a luck based boost, nor is it difficult. this map SHOULD be allowed to do this.

If nobody tells it to untouch, do you really expect he fixes it out of nowhere? If someone would have told him I'm pretty sure he would have done it, it's not like it's all up to me. Just because I'm not online that doesn't mean maps can't be fixed or reset, as new maps keep getting added as well as far as I can see...

Oh and just in case it gets decided to unban chipzy (which would be okay, just add the map to the allowed list then if you don't want to reset / fix it) you should unban "Ichhaueuch" as well, so please don't forget him :P

This rule is supremely counter intuitive. It's not hard to do, it's not luck based, hundreds of people have done it, the world record did it, it hadn't been touched in months... Really what would you expect him to do? Just not get a world record he can get because of a completely useless rule?

in my opinion (not that anyone would care>:) the reason for the ban is alright, although i think he shouldnt have been banned.
see, as chipzy said, previous WR runs have been done that exact same way, and it's been like this for ages, Yet it hasnt been fixed
Now why should it be up to chipzy to report this if there are like ~100+ attempting the same map
if it was known this was used in older WR runs, then you should ask why it hasnt been fixed, rather than banning chipzy for doing what everybody did.

I personally have to side with Jay on this one, it's a slightly gay way to get a record yes but in all seriousness, how is someone to compete otherwise. It's not hard, it isn't a luck based crouchboost, I just feel like this is splitting hairs just for the sake of splitting hairs, I mean if you really wanna split hairs I can part take. Thyspe's wrcp 2 on Imex is amazing boost glitched. The world record on Morbid is prehopped, and everyone that has completed surf_tron has sideways boosted because you literally cant get a time on it if you dont. So to be fair to chipzy the proper course of action is what, ban the entire server right?

You're funny kid. Crouchboosting is luck based, and often times can be difficult. Prehopping can also be difficult to gain a substantial ammount of speed. You need perfect bhop's which by the way seem to be HIGHLY luck based.

It's a linear map, every attempt is a no-fail.
