How to record a SMOOTH demo?

Ok so I've been searching for something like that really long and I couldn't find anything about this so I'm just gonna ask. How do you record a demo while surfing or bhopping? Sounds stupid, because you can try with "record [name]", but on any server with airaccelerate over 100, if I'm recording a demo, it looks like I'm surfing halfsideways or strafes are looking like I'm only pressing W.

I've seen some SourceTV demos and they were looking fine, but how can I record a smooth demo for me that will not look like I'm surfing sideways?

play in window mode and use something like hypercam or snagit to record a video of you playing
