so~ i choose to finish an old stage i've been working on, not much left to do on it, so i should finish up pretty quickly. i just have some screens to show for now~!

i also have a jail which can be used (if it's decided that it fits in with the map). it's a mini-game.. credits for the idea go to albinoman. it's basically tug of war! it works by the two teams on either side of a "ditch" (that kills you).. the aim is to shoot moving targets with the damage dealt increasing the power of the opponents teams pushes (so they get pushed in the "ditch").

edit: this is a completely new stage, i lost all my old stuff in a hdd fail (long story).

i finally finished my new stage, but it looks like you couldn't wait for me and this project fucked up, sorry! but i'm posting anyway.

the idea - spawn is a helicopter in the air, which you jump out in low gravity (the thought was to be like a parachute) and strafe through several rings before landing on the main surf level (back in normal gravity).

the 'looks' of this level rely heavily on light_env settings being bright orange which i'm sure will be a problem, but hopefully there can be a happy medium where all stages look decent.

not uploading bsp/vmf yet, i want to fix the fps at spawn, as you can see it's pretty low because everything is being drawn at once.

wow, fåwk yeah! i love it already!
and about the current status of the map.. i would wait till untouchable becomes online. :)

edit: i dont know if you have thought about this, but could be cool if the floating rings slowly formatted ^^
-nonetheless looks fun. and hot.
