Ok guys, finally its been set in motion and we have some clips.
If any of you didnt know, which is probably a lot of you since nothing about this was made official, it was mine and Zoomj's idea in response to a video posted on Youtube by SV (entitled, 'The skills of surf velocity') to make our own video, showcasing what we, KSF, can do.

We just started recording some clips earlier, and so far this is what we have; (note, nothing has been edited together yet).

yeah but ksf is primarily a surfing clan ~ if nothing this vid could work as advertising our servers (stick ips at the end, advertise our site etc etc)

but yeah actually it might be good to show we arent just full on surf, and that we do other things, so if you got any good hs demos or anything like that, would be good

If you really want to advertise your server you need a surfing map for your clan. A KSF surfing map then inside the map you post your servers name and ip ect.

I have no experience of fraps - with source tv you can watch from every angle and its good enough quality. Being able to watch from any angle is good cos the editor can make it look cool. Alsooo, the editor is Zoomj unless he pulls out.

And yeah I want a date when people are on and we can go to KSF or use untouchables server, get source tv up, and get some clips, I dont want people throwin random demos at me (not to sound rude) but it will be so much easier doing it all together.

To record them, create a server in css as always. type in tv_enable 1 and then changelevel surf_whatever. then type tv_record demonamehere.

After that, upload the demos mustard and send me them, then ill get all the ticks where we have good bits and send them all to zoomj to put together and edit. He already has the demos from the first section of recording we did.

I really don't see the problem for us to get on and to record the demos on KSF. Whatever evening someone is available. we'll change to the map that is still missing and let whoever try to beat it. You don't really have to organize a big thing. So we can still do wednesday evening if you guys want because one or two people missing is not a big deal. This way atleast we'll know we got source tv demos. (People may ignore my instructions on recording and their "create a server" tickrate may be off.)

For whoever doesn't know, source tv demos record EVERYTHING, not only what you are viewing. Creating a video that is all first person is absolutely boring, and it will be the job of the editor (zoomj) to use different angles to create an interesting viewing experience.
